He is current ICD-10 workgroup chair for ACEP's Coding and Nomenclature Advisory Committee and Chair of EDPMA's Quality Coding Documentation Committee. As Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland Residency Program, he is involved with medical education and serves as the departments Director of Compliance and Reimbursement.
