After completing residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland, she completed a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. She works clinically in the Critical Care Resuscitation Unit at the University of Maryland Medical Center and in the intensive care unit at the University of Maryland\u2019s Capital Region Medical Center, an academically affiliated community hospital.
