Robert Flint, MD

Before joining the faculty at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Flint had a 20 year career in community emergency medicine serving as medical director at a Level 3 Trauma Center as well as various educational and administrative roles within a regional emergency medicine staffing group. At Maryland, he serves as the associate chief of emergency medicine at the VA medical center. His academic interests include trauma care, substance use disorders, injury prevention, and emergency department operations. He lectures, podcasts, teaches, and publishes on these topics regularly.
