Assistant Professor, University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine

Afrah Ali, MBBS FAAEM is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and an attending physician at the University of Maryland Medical Center - Midtown Campus. She obtained her medical degree from Gulf Medical University, UAE, and completed her emergency medicine residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Ali also pursued a Medical Simulation fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She is actively involved in simulation education, critical care, and the management of psychiatric and dermatologic emergencies with regional, national and international invitational lectures on these topics. Dr. Ali serves as co-chair of the AAEM Simulation Interest Group.
