Dr. Salerno is an Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine, and the Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography Fellowship Director. After her residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center, she completed an Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship with ABEM Focused Practice Designation in Emergency Ultrasonography. She works clinical at Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Salerno is the Chair-Elect for the EUS-AAEM Section and is also the Chair-Elect for the ACEP EUS Fellowship Subcommittee. She has numerous publications and national lectures in POCUS. In her free time, she enjoys running and biking and playing with her 110 lb German Shephard.
