Dr. Salerno is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Maryland in 2015 and subsequently completed an EM residency and ultrasound fellowship at the University of Maryland. She is currently the Advanced Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Director at the University of Maryland. She has lectured nationally on several topics in Point-of-Care Ultrasound and has co-authored an Atlas of Critical Care Echocardiography. Outside of ultrasounding she enjoys running, biking and playing with her 100lb German shepherd.
