Dr. Falat completed her residency in Emergency Medicine, Chief Residency, and Faculty Development Fellowship at the University of Maryland. She continued at the University of Maryland as faculty, where she now serves as the Assistant Medical Director. She has lectured nationally on a variety of procedural and environmental medicine topics, and currently serves as a Section Editor for CorePendium's environmental medicine chapters.
