Dr. Adler is nationally recognized expert of coding and reimbursement. He is current ICD-10 workgroup chair for ACEP's Coding and Nomenclature Advisory Committee and Chair of EDPMA's Quality Coding Documentation Committee. As Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland Residency Program, he is involved with medical education and serves as the departments Director of Compliance and Reimbursement. His area of interest focuses on the intersection of clinician documentation, coding policy, and malpractice risk reduction.
