Mark Sutherland is a quadruple boarded physician (emergency medicine, internal medicine, critical care, and informatics) who works clinically in the UMMC adult emergency department and medical ICU. He serves as APD for our EM/IM and EM/IM/CC residencies, and directs our Center for Emergency Data Analytics and Reporting (CEDAR). Dr. Sutherland has extensive experience in the areas of critical care, mechanical ventilation, patient flow, and healthcare informatics.
