Dr Allison is Chief of the Critical Care Division at the University of Maryland Saint Joseph Medical Center. He trained in the EM/IM/CC program at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Allison has published on the use of noninvasive ventilation and high flow nasal oxygen and has lectured on the uses of these modalities in various forms of respiratory failure.
