Dr. Callahan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Director of Simulation Education. After completing her residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, she completed a fellowship year in Faculty Development with a special focus on Medical Education/Simulation. She was also Chief Resident during this time. She worked in a community setting for several years after finishing her fellowship year, but has recently returned to work at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Callahan is passionate about emergency obstetrics & gynecology, simulation, and medical education. She is actively engaged in medical education at all levels, from medical students to residents and beyond.
