Dr. Chasm is a nationally recognized leader in the field of quality assurance and risk management in Emergency Medicine, with a specialized niche in pediatric emergency medicine. She is board-certified in both Emergency Medicine and General Pediatrics. As Quality and Risk Director, she prioritizes the delivery of the highest level of care while ensuring risk mitigation.
Dr. Chasm has lectured around the country, published journal articles and book chapters, and served as co-director of the Combined Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics Residency at the University of Maryland. Dr. Chasm currently is an executive physician leader in the capacity of Associate Chief Medical Officer for University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus.
