THE CRASHING PATIENT CONFERENCE LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

By the conclusion of this Conference, participants should be able to:

  • Describe common pitfalls in documentation that reduce legal risks.
  • Identify common pitfalls in managing acutely ill patients in the emergency department.
  • List some best practices that can help avoid litigation and decrease the risk of morbidity and mortality in the emergency department.

The Center for Emergency Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

NPs, RNs, LPNs, and PAs: You may claim a certificate of participation. ANCC and AAPA accept medical AMA PRA Category 1 Creditsfor nursing and physician assistant re-licensure.

HOW TO CLAIM CREDITS:

To submit for CEU/CME you must view all lectures, and then complete the post-Conference survey. Survey will be posted on the Event Portal each day of the Conference. The link will also be emailed out after the live event. Survey's must be completed no later than January 3, 2025, to qualify for continuing education credits. Once you have completed the survey, certificates will be emailed out on a rolling basis. Please allow for 10-15 business days once you have submitted your survey for your certificate to be emailed to you.
